Live Blogging From The Del Mar Lounge

The Del Mar Lounge is packed with TAM-goers enjoying skeptical conviviality and friendship. The crowd is mostly male, but there are plenty if women there too. I have not noticed any difference in social norms for thing like hugging from previous TAMs. I am beginning to think that the FtB/Skepchick Axis has failed (at least so far) in their scheme/conspiracy to destroy the Jref/TAM and replace them with a more compliant group like CFI. That is a happy revelation.

    Yes indeed. Last thing I want is the CFI staff interfering in my personal interactions with others (without as much as a presumption of innocence). And that’s as a woman, (not to mention anti-harassment policies drafted by habitual bullies and harassers). I watched some of the Skepchicon panels and the were boring & spectacularly unscientific. According to them, all human brains are “damaged” by testosterone, some less than others. Count me in with the substantially damaged, then.
